Infernal Wound[edit]
An infernal wound weapon deals wounds which fester, reducing maximum hp. The base weapon damage (plus any damage inherent to the weapon, but not extra sources like Power Attack or one's Strength bonus) is dealt to the creature's maximum hp as well as their normal hp. This prevents a creature from healing. The maximum hp damage automatically removes itself after 8 hours of rest, or can be removed prematurely with a DC 15 Heal check as a standard action, or a remove curse spell before healing the target. Infernal wounds are considered a form of curse.
Faint necromancy; CL 5th; Craft Magical Arms and Armor, vile strike; Price +2.
