Iron Pagoda

As the order grew in popularity, emperors wanted more and more of these incredible warriors. Because of this, the masters of the Iron Buddha decided to accept those who failed to become proper iron buddhas into a suborder of the group: the iron pagodas. Less inclined towards culture and more martial, these warriors depart a bit from the usual iron buddha, but not enough to be distinguishable by outsiders and not enough to impair their effectiveness in battle.

Class: Iron Buddha

Prerequisites: * Alignment: any lawful.

  • Base Attack Bonus: +6.
  • Special: Proficiency with heavy armors.

Level: 1st

Replaces: Monk Abilities progression

Benefit: Instead of gaining the monk abilities feature its iron pagoda levels stack with level in one other class for the purpose of one scaling feature of that class (fighter level for the purpose of requirements, smite bonus and uses for the paladin, favored enemy for the ranger, and similar features from other classes).

  • Peach Blossom Spring: Each of its Peach Blossom Spring techniques is usable one time per Wisdom modifier per day, with the same DC they would have if they were actual ki techniques.
  • Special: classes with the special mount feature or similar, may count iron pagoda levels for progression of the mount.
