Kam'Dahk, The Hammer - Elemental

A constellation of Earth, durability and craftsmanship.

The Hammer is a symbol of Earth and the craftsman's tool, forging new ideas into existence and smashing through defenses. This constellation grants you Earth-manipulation, creation and crafting abilities.

Manifestation[edit]

The Ascendant's eyes change to solid, glowing orbs of brown, green and silver, and their skin takes on a dirty appearance that can't be washed off. Their hair takes on a faint metallic hue, and the smells of the deep earth and of the forge linger about them. On their brow rests Kam'Dahk itself in glowing amber light - Bright points of light mark the locations of the stars, while a faint tracery shows the hammer itself.

Passive Ability[edit]

While The Hammer is active, you gain the Earth subtype, with a Burrow speed equal to half your land speed (You can choose whether or not to leave a tunnel). You are treated as having ranks in all Craft skills equal to one-half your class level, plus your Charisma modifier. These "fake" ranks can't be used to qualify for prerequisites, though. You also gain one floating [Item Creation] feat, chosen upon assuming the Hammer constellation. You gain the feat's effects until you assume another constellation. You must otherwise meat the feat's prerequisites, such as caster level, other feats, and etc. Furthermore, you gain the Basic Bends ability of a Bender of Earth, with a Bender level equal to your class level. At 5th level, you gain any one Minor Bend from the Bender of Earth's class list upon assuming this constellation, and at 10th level you also gain any one Major Bend from that list. You use your Charisma modifier for determining the save DCs of these Bends. Finally, the Strain costs of all Creation and [Earth] spells you cast while under the effects of The Hammer are reduced by 1.

Sidereal Blast[edit]

While under the effect of The Hammer, your Sidereal Blast deals bludgeoning damage and ignores the hardness of items. When used against creatures with the [Air] subtype or ancestry dating back to the Elemental Plane of Air (Such as an Air Genasi), the dice size of your Sidereal Blast increases to d8s and the critical multiplier increases to x3. When used in a Sunder attempt, your Sidereal Blast also subjects the target item to a targeted Dispel Magic, using your full caster level.

Void Ward[edit]

While you are using The Hammer, your Void Ward grants the target damage resistance to Bludgeoning damage equal to five times the AC bonus granted by the ward. The hardness of all equipment the target carries also increases by a number equal to your Charisma modifier for the duration.

Astral Mark[edit]

The Hammer alters your Astral Mark, granting the target of the ability the Earth Mastery, Push and Earth Glide abilities of an Earth Elemental of their hit dice for the duration. The target also gains temporary hit points equal to your class level + your Charisma modifier for the duration.
