Very few are those who week to understand the underlying mechanism of the Multiverse, even wizards who study the foundation of magic fail to capture the details which do not bring them power. The secrets of life and death, punishment and rewards can be accidentally delved on by ambitious healers who sought to bride the gap between positive and negative energy. The karmic healers usually hail from philosophical traditions rather than the worship of Gods and most have a monastic or scholarly bent.

Becoming a Karmic Healer

The Karmic Healers are some of the most skilled healers around, although they are more than capable of killing their foes with negative energy. Last but not least is their mastery over curses and punishment through the Karma domain.

Entry Requirements  

Alignment:	Any Neutral.
Feats:	Persistent Healing.
Spellcasting:	Must be able to cast a cure spell of at least 3rd level.
Domains:	Karma Domain.
Special:	Must be able to cast both cure and inflict spells spontaneously (such as the Dual Providence feat).

Class Features

All of the following are class features of the Karmic Healer.

Spellcasting: At each level, you gain new spells per day and an increase in caster level (and spells known, if applicable) as if you had also gained a level in a spellcasting class to which you belonged before adding the prestige class level. You do not, however, gain any other benefit a character of that class would have gained. If you had more than one spellcasting class before becoming a Karmic Healer, you must decide to which class to add each level for the purpose of determining spells per day, caster level, and spells known.

Improved Karma Domain: The karmic Healer possess an uncanny mastery over other's karma, firstly she base her Karma domain on her character level instead of her cleric level and the duration of the aura is now based on your Wisdom instead of your Charisma (if higher). She may also spontaneously cast spells from her karma domain by losing a spell slot of the same level, much like she can spontaneously cast cure and inflict spells.

Yin-Yang Healing: A 1st level Karmic Healer receive the Yin-Yang Healing feat as a bonus feat even if she does not meet the prerequisites. If she already possess that feat or later gain it, she gain a bonus feat she meet the prerequisites of.

Detect Karma (Su): A 2nd level Karmic Healer can use detect alignment at will. If she concentrate on a specific creature she may also replicate the effect of reveal greatest sin, this require a full-round action.

Persistent Harm (Su): A 2nd level Karmic Healer's Persistent Healing feat now function with her inflict spells as well. If she damage a creature with either a cure or inflict spell she also cause the creature to lose hit points equal to the fast healing that would normally be granted.

Attuned to the Wheel (Su): A 3rd level Karmic Healer has attuned herself to the Wheel of Life and Death. She increase the amount of healing or damage done by any of her positive or negative energy effect by 2 points per spell level or 1 additional point per dice of the effect, whichever is higher. Her Aura of Punishment and her Aura of Reward from the Karma domain heal or remove 2 additional hit points.

Invert Lifeforce (Su): A 4th level Karmic Healer can invert the lifeforce of a target within medium range as a swift action. The target is granted a Will save to negate the effect (DC 10 + 1/2 HD + Casting Ability Modifier), otherwise the target's lifeforce invert for 1d4 rounds. A creature with an inverted lifeforce is harmed by what previously healed it and healed by what previously healed it, although this only apply to negative and positive energy.

Timeless Body (Ex): After attaining 5th level, a karmic healer no longer takes ability score penalties for aging and cannot be magically aged. Any penalties she may have already incurred, however, remain in place.

Wheel Enlightenment (Ex): A 5th level Karmic Healer is granted understanding of the Wheel of Life and Death, she increase the healing she receive from positive and negative energy by 50%, become immune to [Death] effect, level drain and necromancy effect. She may now use her Aura of Punishment and her Aura of Reward from the Karma domain at will.
