When a creature fails a Will save against this power you can cause them to forget one word. They cannot recall this word, or any properties associated with this word, and even if directly confronted with what it is they can recognize it but not recall its name. The existence of this word and knowledge learned about the word, be it an action, an object, or the like slips from the mind 1 round after it has left their attention.
While this can't seal away any abilities (a warrior can still attack with a sword even if they have no idea what a sword is), it removes any knowledge or feelings they have for the word in question since it is not something they know about. However not knowing about a word may result in them taking different or non-optimal actions, such as the same warrior believing himself without a weapon. This is considered a curse and can be removed by remove curse, or by any effects which alter memory such as psionic modify memory.
Augment: For 4 additional power points you can remove another word from their knowledge.
For 4 additional power points, you can have it so that they still cannot recognize the nature of a word or object even when presented by it. It is as if the object is question is under cloud mind.
For every 2 additional power points you spend on any effect its save DC increases by 2.
