This silver ring is shaped like a dragon's claw, clutching a pale blue gem. It attunes you to the forces of magic itself.
All of your damage from spells and spell-like abilities deal +1 damage per HD, but you in turn take an additional +1 damage per HD from any spells or spell-like abilities hitting you. This only applies to hp damage done by a spell. Spells that strike multiple times (such as having multiple attacks, or persisting over time) only apply this extra damage to one attack or once per casting.
Your increased tie to the forces of magic grant you a +2 enchantment bonus on Knowledge Arcana and Spellcraft checks.
Prerequisites: Forge Ring, magic missile.
