A dozen twinkling lights appears floating around you. At a glance, the motes of light fly out as magical missiles.

When you cast this spell you are surrounded by a shell of glowing lights, magic missiles awaiting release. You gain one magic missile for every two caster levels (three at 5th, four at 7th, five at 9th, and so forth). As an non-action, you can launch one or more of the missiles at any number of targets, as if using magic missile. Magic missiles from this ability can also be used to target objects, and counter projectile arrows (but not rays, boulders, or anything which would not be deflected by deflect arrows). When the last missile is used, the spell is discharged. You are immune to the magic missile spell while you have at least one missile in reserve.

This spell counts as magic missile for the purposes of interacting with other effects.
