Magician [Archetype] Prerequisites: Ability to cast at least one Illusion or Enchantment spell.Benefit: See below Special: If you ever stop qualifying for this feat, you can trade it for another archetype feat for which you meet the prerequisites.
Archetype Feat Bonuses are based on HD.
- 1 HD: You are under the effects of a permanent Prestidigitation spell, which can be halted or resumed as a free action. Any magical abilities you have can be sensorially altered, but not in such a way as to change their mechanical effects or to make them harder to detect. Additionally, you may select one 0-level spell, and this spell is usable at will as a supernatural ability.
- 3 HD: You always have something up your sleeve. You can use Minor Creation at will as a supernatural ability with an indefinite duration, but the material must be conjured so that it is in contact with you, and the conjured material vanishes as soon as you cease touching it for one round. You can dismiss any material conjured as a free action. You can only have one use of this ability active at a time. Your caster level for this ability is 1/3 your character level.
- 8 HD: Your illusions become based more on tricks of the eye and less on tricks of the mind. Any illusion effect you produce now bypasses immunity to mind-affecting effects, but a creature with immunity to mind-affecting effects gains a +5 bonus on any save against the effect. All illusion effects you produce have their illusion auras hidden by a Magic Aura effect. Divination effects can only be used to see through your illusion effects if the user succeeds on an opposed caster level check. Additionally, your Minor Creation ability improves to be based on Major Creation, and your caster level for it is improved to 1/2 your character level.
- 15 HD: Your enchantments are based entirely on magical enhancement of your own knack for trickery, rather than clouding the mind of the victim. Any enchantment effect you produce bypasses immunity to mind-affecting effects, but a creature with immunity to mind-affecting effects gains a +5 bonus on any save against the effect.
