Missing Shadow
Warlock Lesser; 4th

You must use this invocation when you have a shadow (and thus can't be used in complete darkness). When you use this invocation you fall into a trance and are rendered helpless, as your shadow pops off your body and moves around on its own. Your senses are transfered to the shadow. As a shadow, you are two-dimensional and unable to be hurt by any means except positive energy, negative energy, force damage, ghost touch weapons, and [Light] effects. You are limited to traveling along surfaces, but otherwise can climb any surface perfectly with a speed equal to your land speed. You can slip through cracks as small as 1 inch. You cannot enter places of total darkness, and if you are ever trapped in one (such as someone turning out the light) your shadow is immediately destroyed and returned to you. Your shadow has 10% of your hp, AC equal to 10 + size + dexterity modifier, and your saves. It cannot attack, cast spells or invocations, nor can it perform any physical actions. Your shadow can go out as far as 1 mile, any farther and it is destroyed.

If your shadow is destroyed by any means, you immediately take 20% of your maximum hp as backlash damage and your are dazed for 1d4 rounds. Creatures capable of casting scrying can trace the shadow back to its owner's last known position with a successful opposed caster level check.
