Obscuring[edit]

Obscuring armors cover the body entirely and hide one's identity from view.

The obscuring template can be added to any suit of armor. These outfits obscure the identity of the wearer on account of being full plate with darkened visors, having heightened greaves to boost height, changing one's voice through echoing cavities or mechanical augmentation, or simply coming with a full body spandex disguise and mask as part of many lighter armors that do not cover the body in full. Those insides are not immediately identifiable, resulting in cases where "The Green Knight" or similar appearances may be infamous but their actual person within is unknown.

Requirements[edit]

The creator of an obscuring item must have at least 5 ranks in Craft Armor and Disguise.

Obscuring Armor[edit]

The obscuring template can be added to any suit of armor. The items either are fully covering, or come with fabric to obscure the parts the armor does not cover.

Cost: 900 gp

Affinities: Glamered or any other enhancement related to producing illusions or polymorphing effects.

Special: The armor provides a +10 circumstance bonus on Disguise checks to hide the identity of the wearer, though the hidden identity is fixed to the identity and appearance of the armor in question and thus the user can be identified by their armor. Removing part of the armor (usually a helmet or mask) removes the bonus to Disguise.
