Robes of the Enflamed Soul[edit]

Robes of the Enflamed Soul
Price: 5000 gp
Body Slot: Body
Caster Level: 3rd
Aura: Faint Evocation
Activation: Swift action
Weight: 1 lb

These ashen red robes smell of charcoal and are warm to the touch. When activated your soul is lit with flame and you radiate heat and power.

These robes grant the user resistance to cold 5, which stacks with other sources of cold resistance. The user also benefits from endure elements constantly.

As a swift action the robes may be ignited dealing either 1d8, 3d8, or 5d8 points of fire damage each round to the user. This fire damage bypasses normal resistances and immunities. In return not only are they on fire for the duration dealing the same fire damage to any those striking them in melee with natural or unarmed strikes or grapple attempts, but also applies this extra damage to any melee attacks they make. The fire damage to others is subject to resistances/immunities as normal.

The robes also improves the caster level and increases the damage cap for any [Fire] effects you cast by +1 (for 1d8), +2 (for 3d8), or +3 (for 5d8). For example a 11th level spellcaster could cast fireball when taking 5d8 damage a round, and the fireball deals 13d6 damage.

The benefits and damage last until the robes are snuffed as a swift action.
