After a moment the blank map drew a startlingly realistic image of the surroundings. You could see Fort Durbane from here, you're only 60 miles away!
This map initially appears blank, but within 3 rounds of being unfurled it makes a realistic photograph of your location and its surroundings, as if viewed by a creature miles high in the sky. The map is always centered on the item itself, and you can have it zoom in to show the surroundings out to 1 mile, 10 miles, 100 miles, or 1000 miles as a free action (taking 3 rounds to re-draw itself each time). You have about the same amount of detail as you would have were you that high in the air, and can be blocked by cloud cover and other weather effects. Creatures do not show up on the map, but any environmental structures appear in almost real time (delayed by 3 rounds).
Prerequisites: Craft Wondrous Item, prying eyes.
Cost to Create: 3000 gp, 240 EXP, 6 days.
