The sorcerer landed on a shimmering disc of force and began surfing the molten flow downward.
This spell operates like floating disk, escape it only hovers a fraction of an inch over the surface and does not follow the caster. Instead, the caster can step upon it and propel themselves over liquid or malleable surfaces like snow and sand by tilting and balancing. They can travel up to their land speed on a flat surface, half their speed on an incline, and twice their speed on a decline. If they did not move at least 10 ft in the previous round, their overall speed on the surfing disc is halved.
The spellcaster gets a +10 bonus on Balance checks to remain on the disc. The disc can keep the user safe from ground hazards such as spikes, caltrops, or acid, though it does not hover and will fall to the ground as normal. Like floating disc, the spell winks out of existence if it goes beyond the spell range.
