Your eldritch blast becomes a 40 ft line of energy, dealing your eldritch blast damage with a Reflex save for half. At any point along the 40 feet, you can choose to end the line and have the blast split to the left and right, forming a T-shape. The extra lines can extend up to 40 feet themselves.
You start out only able to form one T-shape. However at caster level 8th and every even level beyond (10th, 12th, and so forth) you can form another T-shape from one of the new lines you have created. Using this you can zig-zag one or more lines a very far distance, taking it around corners, avoiding hitting allies, or beyond your usual blast range. If you manage to hit a creature multiple times with different branches of the T-blast, they only take damage from it once.
