My opinion on this soured over time, now that I am over my 'tome' phase. While strictly speaking it's reasonably within the scope of power of 'high wizard' it suffers from a lot of issues. Mainly any GM who sees this class will laugh and ban anything that comes from this website. A full-caster with pretty much all monk class features and full casting. It has all the hallmarks of a terrible homebrew class, even though it's actually made with more care than that.
I actually think there are some worthwhile ideas, like self-buffing only and lots of evocation, I would like to see it made into something closer to the Pathfinder Magus. 6th-level spells, some good class features and whatnot. I rated it neutral, as it is not the classes's fault but my view on balance changed quite a bit. For transparency sake my previous rating was a favor. |

This is good. Personally, I would've left out a lot of the extra feats this character gets, but I understand that it's okay for a high balance character.
All in all, this is pretty much what I was looking for in a spell-casting monk. Good job, Eiji-kun! |
Eiji - Did you want both this and the V2? Mostly just wondering if I need to do a spell page for this one or not. - TarkisFlux 19:57, November 11, 2009 (UTC)
Modernizing[edit]
This class formatting needs modernizing. I'll do it myself later tonight if no one beats me to it before then. Surgo 22:07, December 15, 2009 (UTC)
- Beat you to it, I think anyways... It may have needed a whole extra modernization. "Spells" still aren't in alphabetical order though. --Ganteka Future (talk) 04:36, 27 February 2015 (UTC)
Spells or SU?[edit]
Just some of the wording on them made me a bit lost. Are Ki blast considered spells or Supernatural? When reading them and looking at the chart, it says spells but when I look at Catch Energy, it seems like it treating Ki blast as something different.
