The Salty One[edit]

The Salty One, its original name long forgotten, was once a mortal who became so butt blasted, so rectally wrecked, so rear ravaged, that the sheer force of their impotent rage caused them to collapse on themselves and spilled their spaghetti right out of the universe.

Level: 1st

Binding DC: 15

Special Requirement: No

Legend[edit]

There once was a mortal who was never happy about anything. They would play fun games, only to rage when things went wrong. They would become angry at religion, at politics, at everything. And they would express their rage whenever they could at whoever they could.

So it was that one day they caught the undue attention of a trickster spirit. Seeing one whose jimmies who could be so easily rustled, it created the ultimate ruse. The exact nature of this ruse has been lost to time, or perhaps it was never meant for a mortal man to know, for such was the great power of this boggling bamboozlement that the being who came to be known as The Salty One engaged in the greatest of jammie jumbling immediately collapsed upon themselves in rage, leaving only a pile of salt in their passing.

So it was presumed passed The Salty One into the land of the dead. Yet no soul was found. The Salty One's fury has escaped into the world, and began to subtly influence the world through the binders foolish enough to summon it.

Manifestation[edit]

As you draw the sign, the sign shifts and changes under your gaze to form a picture, an article, or some other news which would create great disappointment, disgust, and anger. You feel a great loathing, and try to express yourself, but brine sprays forth instead. From the brine a pillar of growing salt appears, the top in a vague appearance of a human face twisted into rage.

Sign[edit]

Your eyes leak a thick brinewater, which tends to build up around your eyes harmlessly, producing the appearance of thick rimmed crystalline goggles.

Influence[edit]

If there is something to complain about, no matter how small, you will find a way to complain about it and in great length and detail, far longer than which is socially appropriate. The more insignificant, the better.

Granted Abilities[edit]

Angry About Everything[edit]

You may fall under the effects of the rage spell at will as a free action on your turn.

Butt Blasted[edit]

By remembering things that anger you, you can cause your, uh, bottom to detonate explosively. This produces the effect of a 10 ft radius blast of fire that deals 1d6 points of fire damage per level (maximum 10d6 at 10th level), with a Reflex save for half. The blast is centered on yourself, but you are unharmed. Instead, you are launched 1d6 × 10 ft in a direction of choice, and take 1d6 points of falling damage. This movement provokes attacks of opportunity. At 11th level, the radius increases to 20 ft, though you can always choose to only explode 10 ft. You can use this once every 5 rounds.

Inconsolable[edit]

Nothing can console The Salty One, or cause them to change their mind about things. They are immune to morale effects and charm effects.

Salty Tears[edit]

Your salty tears are brine, yet when tasted by others besides yourself, they are said to taste sweet instead, and produce a reaction not unlike schadenfreude. These tears can be collected in vials and bottles and last as long as you keep The Salty One bound. Effectively, you can produce up to 10 points of healing per level each day, contained in potion form, which anyone other than the binder can consume to obtain the healing benefit. This is not positive energy, but one must not be immune to morale effects in order to benefit. Crying any amount of your daily limit into a vial is a standard action.
