Vampire Skin

Duration: 1 minute/level; see text
Saving Throw: Fortitude negates
Spell Resistance: Yes

The creature's skin becomes pale and gray. It's difficult to pierce now, but burns at the sight of the sun.

The creature touched by this spell gains DR 5/silver for the duration, but burns when exposed to sunlight. In sunlight (not just any light) they begin burning each round they are exposed. They also take +50% more damage from any [Light] spells and effects, when applicable. If they die while in sunlight their body is reduced to ash.

If cast in a spell slot three levels higher, the duration becomes permanent and it counts as a curse, only able to be removed by spells and effects which remove curses.
