14th | +14/+9/+4 | +9 | +9 | +4 | Antimagic Skin, Master Tracker | Same as ranger |
Cave Empathy (Ex): At 1st level, instead of Wild Empathy, a vril drow-hunter gains Cave Empathy. It works as Wild Empathy, but it affects only animals and vermins that live underground or in caves, or aberrations, elementals or magical beasts with no more than 2 of Intelligence, that also live in caves or underground.
Climb and Hang (Ex): At 1st level, instead of the Track feat, a vril drow-hunter gains a climb speed equal to its land speed. It may stop itself while climbing to hang (even upside-down) by its strong legs and manipulate objects or wield weapons and attack while in this position. In any case it may not do the same while moving, unless the object it wields needs just one hand to be manipulated.
Vril Favored Enemy (Ex): Lastly, always at 1st level, a vril drow-hunter has a modified version of Favored Enemy. It must choose lost slavemasters as a favored enemy, which grants the usual bonuses, increased by 1, against drows, spiders, driders or other creatures created by the drow. This feature works and counts as Favored Enemy, and may be augmented as normal for that feature. At subsequent levels the vril may choose a normal favored enemy.
Cave Companion (Ex): At 2nd level, instead of Animal Companion, the vril may choose a different kind of companion, chosen from the following list: bat, dire bat, eyeball, giant cave salamander, goop, rockhound and wormgazer. This feature works and counts as Animal Companion for its progression and any other purpose.
Antitoxin (Ex): At 3rd level, instead of Terrain Specialist, a vril drow-hunter gains the ability to purge itself from drow or spider venom, or anything similar, by consuming one use of its racial ability Skinshift, as an immediate or free action. This does not conflict with Natural Stride.
Cavebound (Ex): At 3rd level the Favored Environment feature changes: the vril must pick underground as its choice. The feature works regularly at later levels. This feature counts as Favored Environment for any purpose.
Cave Resonance (Ex): At 8th level, instead of Evasion, a vril drow-hunter gains blindsense in a 30 ft. (9 meters) range, but only while in caves or underground.
Antimagic Skin (Ex): At 14th level, instead of Improved Evasion, the drow-hunter may gain, at its option, spell resistance equal to its ranger level + its Constitution modifier when using its Skinshift racial ability. The SR lasts as long as Skinshift does.
