This ooze is a strange fluorescent greenish-yellow purple. Difficult to look at, this ooze has a strange fungal growth on top which many liken to a classic wizard hat. That, however, is not why it gets its name for those who seek to kill the oozes often find themselves swarmed by spells...
Wizard oozes are believed to be normal oozes who have combined with a strange arcane-born fungus. It feeds off both organic matter and magic, and prefers to hunt after magical items and devour them. Their real danger is what happens when they are attacked, for they rapidly split and produce a small army of wizards to protect them.
Wizard oozelets are tiny versions of the wizard ooze which "stand up straight" and form a tall gumdrop shape. It has fibrous tendrils coming from the base of its "hat" which many see as a wizard beard.
Wizard oozes smell slightly of alchemical reagents, and do not speak.
Combat[edit]
Wizard oozes themselves are mindless and straightforward. When injured, they spawn wizard oozelets en masse. The oozelets are also mindless, but spam their spells at random hostile creatures or at objects near hostile creatures as needed. Oozelets do not last long, and dissolve after 24 hours.
Cast Spell (Sp): The wizard oozelet casts its known spell every round at will as a spell-like ability. It chooses a random valid target. Its saving throw is Constitution-based with a +4 racial bonus. It's caster level is 3rd.
Sap Spell (Su): Then a wizard ooze hits a creature with spellcasting, it expends one of the creature's highest level spell slots, chosen at random. Against manifester, it removes a number of power points equal to the highest level power they can manifest.
Spawn Wizard Oozelet (Ex): When the wizard ooze is damaged for at least 10 hp, it spawns a wizard oozelet within 30 feet of itself. In fact every time it loses 10 hp, it spawns an oozelet. Oozelets spawn with a single random sorcerer/wizard spell known up to 2nd level, which it casts every round when it can. You can use the table below to determine the random spell it possesses.

Skills (Ex): Bizarrely, wizard oozes are really really bouncy when they want to be. They get a +50 racial bonus to Jump checks.
