You use materials to create a crude but workable bit of armor that can work over other armor, provided that the target's torso or body slots are free. The ablative jacket may be donned as a free action merely by touching the item, granting a +1 armor bonus which stacks with other armor bonuses, and 1 temporary hp/level. Multiple ablative jackets overlap, they do not stack. The armor bonus lasts until the temporary hp is expended, destroying the jacket. It also falls apart after 24 hours.
Material Component: 50 gp in random scrap.
