This spell purges the blood vessels of any living creature struck from their body, cutting their current hit points in half (round down). In addition, the victim’s blood vessels become independently attacking tentacles, making them the center of a black tentacles effect which lasts for the spell’s duration. This effect treats the subject of the spell not only as the center point but also as a potential victim, attacking and grappling them normally. If the subject is capable of moving, the effect and all creatures successfully grappled by it are moved also.
A successful Fortitude save instead stuns the opponent for one round.
