A ghostly woman appeared down the hall, beaconing you to follow her.
You can specify a creature you know of when you cast this spell. The creature will see a vision of a creature, often a ghostly version of the caster or something attractive and calming, beaconing them to follow which they are compelled to follow. They can use whatever methods are available to them and the ghostly guide will take the best possible route towards you, always staying at a fixed distance away until the destination is reached. If you like, the figure can speak a few choice stock phrases and messages such as "Follow me" or calling the target's name.
Other creatures can attempt to stop the compelled member's journey. The target must do anything they can to continue their trip, though they do not violate their alignment in doing so. This effect cannot be dispelled, but remove curse with an opposed caster level check removes the compulsion.
On a successful save, you still see the figure but are not compelled to follow. If you have not followed within 24 hours, it vanishes and the spell ends.
