Classic Healer
Trade out armor proficiencies and gain arcane spell failure for ranged healing, more spell slots, and superior healing abilities.
Class: Cleric
Prerequisites: Able to spontaneously cast healing spells
Level: 1-20
Replaces: You lose all armor proficiencies, and gain arcane spell failure as if you were an arcane caster.
Benefit: You are able to cast any spell which restores either hit points or ability damage spontaneously, and any spells of this sort with a range of touch gain a range of Close instead. In addition, you gain an additional 2 spell slots per level, but which can only be used to spontaneously cast spells which restore hit points or ability damage.
This ability is more expansive than the cleric's spontaneous healing, allowing spells like heal and restoration to be cast spontaneously.
Add mage armor and shield to the cleric's spell list.
