|Casting time:||1 standard action|
|Effect:||One Dark Seeker|
The black mass of energy was marked with two eye-like dots of light. It pulled itself towards the living seeking to snuff out their light.
You conjure a mass of negative energy and give it a brief and simple pulse of unlife. It is a 5 ft sphere which can move up to 60 ft a round with a fly speed (perfect), no reach, and does not provoke attacks of opportunity from movement. When it enters an opponent's square it may make a touch attack with an attack bonus equal to your caster level + 3. On a successful touch the dark seeker is discharged and deals 1d6 points of negative energy damage to the target per level (maximum 10d6 at 10th). Even if it misses, it may attempt to touch the target or a new target each round for the duration or until discharged.
The dark seeker automatically seeks out one initial target within line of sight, moving towards it until it is able to touch. However if you speak Abyssal or NecrilPathfinder, you may direct the sphere to seek out other targets, aim for undead targets, or perform any behavior suitable for a mindless creature under your control. It is immune to damage, but may be dispelled and also is destroyed it it takes 30 points of positive energy or force damage in a single round.
Material Component: Rotted human remains.
