Dreamborn Subtype[edit]
Dreamborn creatures are creatures which are created or related to the stuff of dreams and nightmares. They are only partially real, flicking in and out of existence.
This subtype is based on the dreamborn subtype seem in Hyperconciousness.
Traits[edit]
A dreamborn creature possesses the following traits (unless otherwise noted in a creature’s entry).
- Unreality (Ex): A dreamborn creature has a 20% miss chance against all attacks. This is not concealment, it sometimes simply isn't there to be harmed. This does not deny the possibility of being hit with sneak attacks. Psychic (mind affecting) damage bypasses this miss chance.
- In addition, dreamborn creatures have difficulty hitting mindless creatures and creatures immune to mind-affecting effects. They suffer a 20% miss chance on their attacks.

| Oneirovira | A predatory microbe-like hunter that enters dreams and devours personalities to make more of itself. |
| Starcatcher Fae | A pixie-like creature made out of dreams and magic, it shimmers and drops glowing fairy dust. |
| Synx'keres | Living nightmare demons with a unfathomable hunger. It embodies the terror of being devoured. |
