With a low electric hum, you feel a protective telekinetic force envelop you, pushing away all blows.
When you manifest this power you gain a +2 deflection bonus to AC and a power shield which absorbs damage in your stead. Whenever you take hit point damage, the damage is applied to the shield. The shield has 21 hit points and fast healing 3. If the shield's hit points are depleted, you lose the deflection bonus to AC and any excess damage passes on to you. Because of the fast healing, the shield will repair itself next round with 3 hit points remaining and return the deflection bonus.
While the shield is active, you are immune to critical hits. The shield gives off a faint hum of energy while it works.
Augment: For every additional power point you spend, the shield hit points increase by 3. In addition for every 12 extra hit points the deflection bonus rises by +1.
For every power point you spend, you can increase the shield's fast healing by +1.
