Essential Arcanist [Incarnum, Skill]
You wish you were a wizard, but all you've got is the ability to channel souls to gain power. You make do.
Benefits: This is a skill feat that scales with your ranks in Knowledge (Arcana).
- 0 ranks: You gain 1 point of essentia.
- 4 ranks: You can invest essentia in this feat. For every point of essentia invested in this feat, you gain a level 0 spell slot as a Wizard, with a caster level equal to the number of ranks you have in Knowledge (Arcana), minus 2, divided by 2. If you uninvest essentia from this feat, you lose all spells prepared with this feat. The Save DC for spells gained with this feat get no bonuses from any ability modifier.
- 9 ranks: For every point of essentia invested in this feat, you also gain a level 1 spell slot.
- 14 ranks: For every point of essentia invested in this feat, you also gain a level 2 spell slot.
- 19 ranks: For every point of essentia invested in this feat, you also gain a level 3 spell slot.
