Fatal Geas
Enchantment / Necromancy [Death, Language-Dependent, Mind-Affecting]
Level: Bard 6, Cleric 6, Sorcerer/Wizard 6
Components: V
Casting time: 10 minutes
Range: Close (25 ft. + 5 ft./2 levels)
Target: One living creature
Duration: Set time period, minimum 7 days; see text
Saving Throw: None
Spell Resistance: Yes

You will die in 7 days.

This spell functions like geas/quest with the changes shown above. The caster must set a time period no shorter than 7 days for a goal to be met, and if the goal is not met at the end of the duration the target dies. The method of death causes the corpse to twist into horrified rigor mortis and decay.

If the goal becomes impossible to meet in the expected duration, the countdown is suspended until the goal becomes possible meet again. The target is aware of both the conditions and the amount of time left or if the countdown has ceased, but not why. Unlike geas/quest, the target is not compelled to complete the task.

A remove curse spell ends a fatal geas spell only if its caster level is at least four higher than your caster level. Break enchantment does not end a fatal geas, but limited wish, miracle, and wish do.
