A god no one worship but many appease, if only to drive him a way. All presume the force behind this god is a great and terrible beast, few know of it's more naive nature... the god of unluck in its most base form, the fumble.

One would expect the god of misfortune to possess a great and terrible form, but the god of fumbling, often simply called Fumbles, is truthfully bound into the pathetic form of a simple porcupine. Those who know of the god's true form speak that the god of misfortune is not immune to his own powers, and thus was unfortunate enough to end up as a simple minded animal which roams the material and astral planes, ignored by all who do not understand the nature of the being within, and far more focused on the string of bad luck which has struck them. Though he brings misery whenever he travels, the god of misfortune is not evil, simply more than a fundamental truth given shape.

Dogma[edit]

Fumbles has no strict dogma, other than to know the nature of luck and unluck and to be aware of their forces, to change them as needed, and to transfer one's own misfortunes onto others. They follow the practice of the scapegoat. To outsiders, they seem lucky fellows, even clerics of luck gods, but instead it is that all of their misfortunes have been applied to the scapegoat, to be sent away to face a fumble-prone doom.

Clergy and Temples[edit]

Clerics of Fumbles are intermixed and nearly identical to clerics of gods of luck, for unluck is merely the other side of the coin. Often, they follow both Fumbles and a god of Luck, for luck must be honored, and misfortune appeased.

Pantheon[edit]

This diety is part of the Cor pantheon.
