Ignite Everything [General]
The fireman watched in horror as the asbestos caught ablaze.Prerequisites: 1st level fire spellsBenefit: You treat everything as flammable as wood when it comes to setting things ablaze. This doesn't change any properties of an object; resistant and immune objects burn but are not consumed if damage is not dealt. This can even ignite water. Smothering is effective in all cases, oxygen is still required to burn and igniting water while underwater immediately smothers it. You can ignite up to the spell's area, or up to a 5 ft square for non-spell effects.
Any fire damage you deal causes the target to risk catching on fire (DC 15, or the DC of the spell or effect in question if higher).
Burning objects and creatures deal an additional 1d6 fire damage on contact with other things, but do not carry your ignite everything properties.
Example: You set fire to your sword, letting it deal 1d6 additional fire damage. The fire damage is absorbed by the sword's hardness 10, so the sword will not burn up. You also take 1d6 fire while holding it, so you best be resistant to fire yourself.
