Kraken Style Grappler [Combat]
You have learned the kraken style of grappling, which show you how to crush your opponent into submission, much like the legendary beast itself. Tentacles optional.Prerequisites: Improved Grapple
Benefits: This is a combat feat that scales with your Base Attack Bonus.
- +0: Once per round, whenever you succeed on a grapple check, you may deal an amount non-lethal damage to the grappled opponent equal to 2 + your highest mental ability modifier.
- +1: As a full-round action you may crush an opponent you are grappling, make an opposed grapple check, if successful you deal damage equal to your unarmed strike damage to the grapple foe and it armor or any one item it is carrying or wearing, ignoring half it hardness and half the creature's DR. The crushed foe must make a Fortitude save (DC 10 +1/2 BAB + your highest mental ability score modifier) or become stunned for a round. You may have this damage be non-lethal.
- +6: When crushing an opponent (as above) the damage done increase to twice your unarmed strike damage. Additionally if you crush or pin a creature, you may prevent it from breathing for 1 round, this does not stop vocalization.
- +11: When crushing an opponent (as above) the damage done increase to three times your unarmed strike damage. If you crush a foe it is pinned for 1 round.
- +16: When crushing an opponent (as above) the damage done increase to four times your unarmed strike damage. If you successfully crush a foe three rounds in a row, you may force it to make a Fortitude save or die as you snap it neck or break it spine. If the save is successful you must restart the process.
