Logical Paladin

You're the thinking man's paladin. Working for the greater good is the only logical choice.

Class: Paladin

Level: 1-3

Replaces: Alignment Restriction, Aura of Courage, Aura of Good, Divine Grace, Smite Evil

Benefit: Gain the following benefits.

Intelligence Paladin: The paladin's spellcasting and class features that were based on Charisma or Wisdom are now based on Intelligence.

Alignment Restriction: Logical paladins are more associated with law than most paladins. They can be any lawful alignment. Lawful evil paladins replace any good aligned spells and lay on hands with their evil counterparts when applicable.

Aura of Law (Ex): The paladin gains an aura of law equal to the paladin's level. This replaces Aura of Good.

Smite Chaos (Su): The paladin smites law instead of smites evil at the same progression as before. This replaces Smite Evil.

Divine Focus (Su): The 2nd level paladin can always choose to take 10 on their saving throws, and adds their Intelligence modifier on Concentration checks. This replaces Divine Grace.

Aura of Clear Mind (Su): Beginning at 3rd level, a paladin is immune to compulsion (magical or otherwise). Each ally within 10 feet of her gains a +4 morale bonus on saving throws against compulsion effects.

This ability functions while the paladin is conscious, but not if she is unconscious or dead. This replaces Aura of Courage.
