Loudness
Evocation [Sonic]
Level: Bard 1, Cleric 1
Components: V, S
Casting time: 1 standard action
Range: Close (25 ft + 5 ft/2 levels)
Target: One creature
Duration: 1 round/level (D)
Saving Throw: Fortitude partial
Spell Resistance: Yes

Every breath was a hurricane, every step an explosion, the victim was surrounded by a cacophonous din.

Those affected by this spell take 1d6 points of sonic damage a round if they make any significant noise, which most actions count. Speaking, moving faster than 1/2 speed, vocal components, attacking, and whatnot cause all noises to reverberate through their body to cause damage. Any listen checks have their DCs reduce by 20, and creatures can pinpoint the creatures square within 20 ft (or 40 ft if they are being unusually loud) even if unseen. Any [Sonic] attacks against the creature deal an additional +1d6 damage.

A creature which does nothing or otherwise makes no noise does not provoke the damage. If a creature remains silent and still for 1 round, the spell ends prematurely.

On a successful save, the effect only lasts 1 round.
