Masterwork Monk

Punching is an inferior weapon in D&D. But you're a monk! Show them how to really do unarmed strikes!

Class: Monk

Level: 4th, 10th, 16th

Replaces: Replaces Ki Strike.

Benefit: You are a masterwork monk, and you gain the +1 attack bonus on your unarmed strikes as if they were masterwork weapons. Through your own dedication and the application of magic tattoos, you can enhance your unarmed strike as if it were a magical weapon. You're so badass you can train by punching materials and acquire their traits, allowing you to forge your unarmed strikes into adamantine, cold iron, silver, or any other material you might apply to a manufactured weapon.

Furthermore, your body can be enhanced as if it were masterwork armor with a +0 AC bonus, no maximum dexterity, no armor check penalty, and no arcane spell failure. You may apply a material to your "armored body" as well, even if it is different from the material of your unarmed strike. For the purpose of any enhancements or materials such as adamantine, your body counts as light armor. You are still unarmored for all other purposes and do not lose your monk abilities, that would be silly.
