Monkey Staff Style [Fighter, Monk] Prerequisites: Improved Unarmed Strike, must be proficient with a staff weapon (as defined below).Benefit: When you are wielding a staff weapon (such as quarterstaff, longstaff, flagstaff, great staff or great longstaff) you may count as unarmed whenever it would be beneficial. You may make attacks with your staff whenever you could make an unarmed strike and any special abilities that would be delivered through or modify an unarmed strikes may now be used with your staff. You can even initiate and hold grapple with your staff and even attack with it while in a grapple with it without penalties. Finally wielding a staff do not count as occupying your hands (allowing for fine manipulation of objects or benefiting from the Iron Grip feat) except for the purpose of wielding other weapons. Special: Monk may select this feat as a bonus feat at 1st or 2nd level.
