Quin's Invisible Ink
Magic Wondrous Item, uncommon
Quin's Invisible Ink is a small vial of invisible ink. When applied to an object, the user must specify who may see the marks and how long the mark lasts. This may be a class of individuals (Town Guard, My Friends, Elves, Good Creatures, etc.). Those not named cannot see the ink except by use of Truesight or magical means, such as the see invisibility spell.
The vial contains enough ink to write two pages of text or 10 other kind of marks (arrows with a line of text, arcane sigils, diagrams, etc.). The vial refills itself after its owner takes a long rest.
Marks made with the ink last for a week if no duration is stated when the ink is used. A dispel magic spell (or similar dispelling or anti-magic effect) will erase a mark made from the vial (if cast on the mark) or render the vial full of normal ink until the end of the effect, or the owner completes a long rest; recovering its magical properties at that point.
