The sorceress waved her arms, and from her outstretched hands arose an amber-colored substance that enveloped her and her allies. The downpour of magical energy that had been about to envelop them suddenly dissipated on contact with the rising barrier, leaving enemies mystified and the shielded allies quite alive.
This spell’s effect may take the form of either a wall (which has no width or thickness but a length of up to 5 feet per caster level that must be contiguous and unbroken when formed) or a bubble with a radius of 5 feet per four caster levels from the point of origin. Any creatures or items caught within the barrier when the spell is cast or passing through it thereafter suffer the effect of greater dispel magic, making dispel checks against all active effects within and negating them if successful. In addition, spell effects and magical effects entering or leaving the area must also make a successful caster level check or be dispelled, fizzling out harmlessly upon contact with the created barrier.
The wall created cannot physically hinder movement unless the movement is magically produced. Sasha’s dispelling screen can be made permanent via the permanency spell.
