For the duration, 1/2 of any damage the target takes becomes healing for you, any negative levels give you +5 temporary hit points per negative level, and any ability damage or drain recovers ability damage or drain for you. When the target dies, you experience a +8 morale bonus on attack rolls, damage, saving throws, ability checks, and skill checks for 1 round and the spell is discharged.
Intrinsic mental safeguards prevent the spellcaster from targeting themselves, though the spell may be reflected with spell turning and similar effects.
