This spell makes one of the targets pregnant by the other target. Neither target need be normally be normally fertile. The pregnancy will advance as if the impregnated target were a normally impregnatable example of his or her kindred. The targets will know which one of them is to be impregnated when determining whether they are willing. When either of the targets has one or more elemental &/or alignment subtypes, this spell has the appropriate descriptor(s).
While the resulting child has the “one-time ability to return to its plane of origin”, as specified for the calling subschool, said child, even if since grown, does not take his/her/its body with him/her/it. Nor any equipment, objects, or belongings. Nor any experience points, levels, or abilities acquired since being called.
Creatures of the same ilk will, if normally capable of reproduction, count as the same species. For example, all Elves counting as the same species, and all Dwarves counting as the same species, characters of different such ilks will count as the same species if interbreeding between the ilks is not uncommon. For example, Humans and Elves will typically be the same species, as will Humans and Orcs, Elves and Orcs will typically not. Whether the targets are personally capable of interbreeding without magic has no effect on how lesser stork call operates.
