The Olde Tongue

You were raised with ye olde tongue, great for Shakespeare, but annoying for normal speech.

Benefit: You can speak and understand old and outdated versions of any language you know. Your flowery archaic vocabulary is sure to impress, giving you a +2 bonus on Decipher Script, Perform Oratory checks, and in any Charisma checks made against those appreciative of the formal speech (such as nobility). In addition, Speak Language is always a class skill.

Drawback: However, speaking in the olde tongue is such a habit for you that communication is sometimes jumbled. Whenever giving a complex command (that is, any command a golem would be unable to comprehend) or speaking to a creature with an Intelligence of 11 or less, they must make a DC 15 Intelligence check modified by the number of additional languages granted by the Speak Language skill (or, just a Linguistics check in Pathfinder) to figure out what you're talking about. This also applies if you attempt to use language-dependent abilities. Against creatures that need to make these checks you take a -2 penalty on Charisma checks instead.

Roleplaying Ideas: Verily, these ragamuffins doth not understand thine sublime complexities of thy words. What foolery.
