Wolfblood Slayer[edit]

The blood of the wolf boil within your veins, the fires of the wyld burn within your soul, the eager of the hunt rend into your mind...

The wolfblood slayers are users of the sublime ways dedicated to the teaching of Riem Wolfcaller a notable user of both the amaranth eclipse and wild moon disciple and wielder of the Great Slayer. They believe in both mastering the beast and hunting others like them for challenge and sport. Many are seen as great werewolves slayer, but their intention is not often good at heart as many of them share the curse of lycanthropy.

Becoming a Wolfblood Slayer[edit]

Wolfblood slayer were most often wildblade or warblade in their past career, they excel in melee and are capable of enter a bloody frenzy almost at will. They are formidable opponent, especially against animals, magical beast and shapechangers.

Entry Requirements
Base Attack Bonus: +6
Skills: 3 ranks in Craft (Taxidermy).
Feats: Night Rage.
Special: 3rd initiator level and must know at least two maneuvers and one stance from the wild moon or amarath eclipse discipline..
Special: Must undertake the wolfblood Joining.

Class Features[edit]

All of the following are class features of the Wolfblood Slayer.

Maneuvers: At 1st level and every odd level beyond (3rd, 5th, etc), you gain a new maneuver known from the amaranth eclipse and wild moon disciplines. You must meet a maneuver’s prerequisite to learn it. You add your full wolfblood slayer levels to your initiator level to determine your total initiator level and your highest-level maneuvers known. At 3rd level and every two levels beyond (6th, 9th, etc), you gain an additional maneuver readied per day.

Stances Known: At 6th level and every 6 levels beyond (12th, 18th, etc), you learn a new martial stance from the amaranth eclipse and wild moon disciplines. You must meet a stance’s prerequisite to learn it.

Bloodblade (Ex): All weapons and natural attacks wielded by a wolfblood slayer have the wounding and keen against animals, magical beasts and creatures with the Shapechanger Subtype. as long as they are wielded by the wolfblood slayer.

At 3rd level the effect of bloodblade applies to all opponents instead of being limited by type.

Wolvenrage (Ex): A wolfblood slayer is able to enter a dangerous frenzy, she add madness of the blood as one of her known. If she already knew this maneuver she gain a bonus maneuver known of 2nd level or lower. She cannot trade madness of the blood for another maneuver.

Additionally if a wolfblood slayer possess the Barbarian's Rage ability she add her Wolfblood Slayer level to her barbarian level for the purpose of determining how many time she can rage per day and the effectiveness of her rage.

Wyld Hunt (Ex): A 2nd level woldblood slayer find himself protected by powerful magic when unleashing her full fury. As long as the wolfblood slayer is in wolvenrage or using a stance from the wild moon or amaranth eclipse discipline she gain a ward of 20 plus her wolfblood slayer levels.

Skinner of the Beasts (Ex): A 3rd level Wolfblood Slayer has slayed beasts of all kind and wear their skins, she gain the Trophy CollectorPHB2 as bonus feat without needing to meet it prerequisites.

The Beast Within (Ex): A 4th level wolfblood slayer gain a new stance, which grant her the benefits of both Claws of the Beast and Jaw of the Beast as well as DR 5/Silver. Her DR/Silver increase to DR 10 if she enter a rage or use madness in the blood, madness in the mind, or madness in the soul.

Eyes of the Slayer (Ex): A 5th level wolfblood slayer gain the Devil's See in Darkness ability and is under a constant deathwatch effect.

The Great Flayer: A 5th level Wolfblood Slayer gain the right of wielding the Great Flayer, she must however defeat it previous wielder. All details on how acquiring the weapons are describe on the weapon page.

Howl of the Wolflord (Su): A 6th level wolfblood slayer is capable of calling on the primeval power of her blood. Once per encounter she may as a full-round action replicate the effect of greater shout and fear in a 60 foot cone as a maneuver-like ability. Unlike greater shout this effect foil and dispel silence effects. How of the Wolflord can only be refreshed by the effect of Wolvenrage and count as a maneuver of the highest level the wolfblood slayer can manifest of both the amaranth eclipse and wild moon discipline.

Wolfblood Joining[edit]

A special requirement in order to become a wolfblood slayer, the wolfblood joining can be done in group or alone. It require the would be aspirant to drink a mixture made of the blood of a lycanthrope slain by herself, the blood of a dire wolf, a extract of wolfbane and a various mixture of other herbs worth 500 gp and must be drank from a small urn made of fey bones. Once drank the aspirant is able to tap in her inner beast. The joinning is usually performed during the full moon, but it is not a requirement.
