Absorb Ally [Spelltouched]
The knight's brave companion fell. With a kindly touch, the knight absorbed his companion's strength. The fight would not end here.Prerequisites: Must have been exposed to death knell, 13 HDBenefit: As a 1 round action which provokes attacks of opportunity, you can touch a willing creature who has died within the last 1 minute. This effect fails against unwilling creatures (even though they are dead). The willing creature's body disintegrates into ash and you are subject to a fusion effect with a manifester level equal to the highest character level between you. Unlike the power, the creature need not be the same type or size, and will always adopt your type and size.
The effect behaves as fusion with the following exceptions: The fused being has your current hit points plus the creature's maximum hit points. The fused being will have your maximum hit dice instead of the highest of the two. No XP is expended, but the dead creature is reduced to ash. You cannot fuse with more than one creature at a time.
In addition as a standard action you can touch a willing living creature which provokes attacks of opportunity, and syphon off up to 3 hit points per HD to heal yourself up to a maximum number of hp to reduce them to 1 hp.
Special: As a side benefit, an actual casting of fusion has no experience cost when using you as a component.
