Lethal to Nonlethal
Transmutation
Level: Cleric 3, Paladin 2
Components: V, S
Casting time: 1 standard action
Range: Touch
Target: One living creature
Duration: Instantaneous
Saving Throw: Will negates (harmless)
Spell Resistance: Yes

A kiss and a band-aid, and that nasty gash doesn't seem too bad.

You convert up to 10 points/caster level of lethal damage into nonlethal damage. This doesn't heal the damage, simply turn it into nonlethal damage.

If cast in a slot 2 levels higher, this converts all lethal damage into nonlethal.

If cast in a slot 2 levels higher, this becomes Mass Lethal to Nonlethal, affecting one creature per level within Close range (25 ft. + 5 ft./2 levels).

You can combine the two, casting it in a 7th level slot to mass transform all lethal damage into nonlethal damage. Paladins can only do one or the other, being capped at 4th level spells.
