Mantle of the Destroyer[edit]

Taking on a fragment of the power of a god of destruction and disaster, you gain the ability to break, destroy, and end creation.

Creating a Mantle of the Destroyer[edit]

Mantle of the Destroyer is an inherited template, a result of taking on a fragment of the power of gods of destruction.

Size and Type[edit]

The creature’s type changes to Outsider with the Native subtype. Do not recalculate the creature’s Hit Dice, base attack bonus, or saves. Size is unchanged.

Special Attacks[edit]

Dusk of Decay (Sp): As a standard action a creature with this template can generate a zone of vulnerability and weakness in a 300 ft radius centered on the creature when this is cast. Objects in this zone have their hardness reduced by half, the damage reduction of creatures is reduced by half, and force effects break if they take 30 points of damage or more in a single round. Break DCs for items are reduced by 6 points. This effect counters and is suppressed by the protective effect of a lyre of building's. The vulnerable field lasts for 1 hour, and when an area is cursed the entire area is lit up with dire wards and runes embedded along the walls.

While the effect is running, the vulnerability also extends to objects in the area for the duration, such as a wielded sword, as long as it remains in the area of effect. You can choose to exclude your allies from this effect. You may use this ability 1/day.

Spell-Like Abilities (Sp): A creature with this template gains the following spell-like abilities depending on its Hit Dice, as indicated on the table below. The abilities are cumulative. Caster level equals a creature's character level, and the save DC is based on their highest mental ability modifier. Unlike most spell-like abilities, you must still pay any expensive material components or XP costs.

Special Qualities[edit]

A creature with this template has all the special qualities of the base creature, plus the following special qualities.

Damage Reduction 5/- (if HD 10 or less) or 10/- (if HD 11 or more)

Darkvision 60 ft (Ex)

Immunities: Death effects, Disease, Petrification, and Polymorphing.

Resistances (Ex): Acid 10, Cold 10, Electricity 10, Fire 10, Sonic 10

Spell Resistance: Equal to 10 + the creature's HD.

Abilities[edit]

Increase from the base creature as follows: Str +4, Dex +4, Con +4, Int +4, Wis +4, Cha +4.
