This spell channels sound waves to shake a single object or freestanding structure to its very core, potentially destroying them. It has two forms; the first functions as shatter, except with the following changes: in addition to its heightened range, the area version of this spell automatically destroys any crystalline object weighing less than 5 pounds per caster level without a saving throw. The targeted version can now affect even magical items regardless of material or weight and deals 1d6 points of sonic damage per caster level (with no maximum) with a Fortitude save being allowed for half damage.
The second incarnation of this spell takes longer to create, but is significantly more destructive. With a minute of casting, single freestanding structure within range is dealt 10 points of sonic damage per caster level, which is not reduced by hardness or halved in the way that other attacks affect objects. The structure collapses if destroyed, dealing crushing damage and pinning those trapped (if applicable) in the same fashion as an earthquake spell.
