3D Maneuver Gear Proficency [Fighter]
Spiderman wishes he was as agile as you.Prerequisites: Balance 4 ranksBenefit: You can use 3D maneuver gear to its full effect (as listed in the item description). In addition you gain additional benefits the more ranks in Balance you possess, as below.
- 6 ranks: You can hook onto unwilling creatures almost as easily as you do walls. To do so you must make a ranged attack against a creature;if you hit (even if you did no damage due to DR) your hook sinks in and you may use the creature as a focal point for your 3D maneuver gear. The hook may be released as a free action, or the creature may tear it out of their body as a move action (dealing the weapon damage again, 1d8 for medium hookshots).
- 12 ranks: You are so adept at moving around you negate fall damage, as long as you are within range of a grappling surface. You gain a +2 dodge bonus to AC when actively flying around with the 3D maneuver gear.
- 18 ranks: You move around so quickly creatures can't seem to target you. You do not provoke attacks of opportunity while moving around with your 3D maneuver gear.
Special: If using Pathfinder, you may use Fly instead of Balance/Acrobatics.
