All Range Style [Fighter, Tactical]
With a snap, the adventurer activated the trap from a safe distance away.Prerequisites: Two-Weapon Fighting, Combat Archery-CE or otherwise not provoking for ranged attacks.Benefit: You gain several tactical uses when fighting with a melee weapon in one hand and a ranged weapon in the other, as shown below.
- Balanced Strike: You can use your ability modifier for melee on ranged attacks and vice versa.
- Combo Shot: Once per round, if you successfully hit with your melee weapon at least twice on the same creature you can make a single ranged attack as a free action. This counts as Rend.
- Gun Parry: Whenever you interrupt a creature's attack (be it a readied action, counter maneuver, or attack of opportunity) and you attack with your ranged weapon, the creature must make a Fortitude save (DC 10 + 1/2 BAB + ability modifier used for attack) or be staggered for 1 round, save negates. If your attack is a critical hit, it becomes a save against staggered and stunned for 1 round, and staggered on a successful save.
- Off-Screen Reload: You can reload your ranged weapon even if you have no free hands. You can also reload as part of movement, much like how you can draw a weapon as part of movement with BAB +1 or higher. Weapons which take a full round to reload or longer take the appropriate number of move actions to reload.
