Axe King [Fighter, Tactical]
Let me axe you what you think of my weapon.Prerequisites: Weapon Focus (any one or two-handed axe)Benefit: You gain access to several tactical maneuvers when using any kind of one or two-handed axe:
Axe Drop: If you are attacking from higher ground, not only do you get a +1 circumstance bonus to attack but your axe also deals maximum base weapon damage. On a critical threat, the target is also left staggered for 1 round on a successful attack from higher ground.
Shield Buster: For every attack you make, as long as you hit or miss by 5 points or less, the target creature's shield bonus to AC drops by 1d2 points for that round. If the shield bonus reaches 0, they are rendered flatfooted to your next attack made within 1 round. Target must have a shield bonus for this to work.
Weighty Swing: As a standard action you can make a single attack. If you successfully hit, the target must make a Fortitude save (DC 10 + 1/2 BAB + ability modifier for attack rolls) or be staggered for 1 round. However if you miss, you yourself are staggered for 1 round as you are thrown off balance. On a critical hit, the target is staggered and knocked prone, or simply staggered on a successful save.
Woodcutter: You ignore hardness of 5 or less with your axe.
