Shadow Fighting [Fighter, Tactical]
The orc couldn't grasp how many halflings were actually hitting it.Prerequisites: BAB +3 or Hide 6 ranksBenefit: You gain the ability to perform the following maneuvers, but only if you are in shadowy illumination or you project a shadow:
- Concealed Tumble: You may use Hide instead of Tumble to avoid provoking an attack of opportunity due to you movement. You must be aware of the opponent.
- Hidden Self: Once per round you may make an Hide check opposed by the Spot check of an opponent (or more) you threaten. If it fails, you gain the benefits of the mirror image spell (use your character level for caster level) against that opponent (or opponents) until the end of your next round. You may use this technique only once per encounter against the same enemy, whether it fails or succeds. This is an extraordinary ability.
- Shadow Flanking: You may take a swift action to use your shadow to flank an opponent you threaten. This benefit applies only to you. You keep flanking until you change target as a swift action or you no longer threaten it.
Special: You gain a +3 to Hide checks made to hide in shadows and to perform the Concealed Tumble and Hidden Self ability.
This feat counts as Combat Reflexes for the purpose of meeting the requirements of the feat Step in Shadow.
A fighter may choose this feat as one of its fighter bonus feats.
