A Favor[edit]

I know I used up all my favors a long time ago, so I only ask of one more. I am personally requesting this favor from Tarkisflux, Eiji-kun, NameViolation, and Ganteka Future - but if any hospitable user wishes to answer the call I am open. I had incorrectly understood that this wiki (meaning the last one as well) was intended as a community work space, and everyone had a voice. One that was not to be squandered over trivial matters. But have found over time that name and name alone separate it from the paleo-wiki. You changed the address, but the bankers are all the same. Most of the users here are not schmucks, but it only takes a few. So I have grown tired of these "rational thinkers", these couch potatoes who don't know squat. So I will be formally leaving this wiki. And am asking if someone could look after what little work I leave behind. You four seem to be the wisest of the lot. Not using this wiki as a front for acting smart. I can take a certain amount abuse - and have played the mad for some time. But the stuff here is utterly intolerable. Thank you, and good luck - the madness has been the only way I've stayed sane. --Franken Kesey 06:15, 29 October 2010 (UTC)

I was just checking up on my orphaned pages, and noted that you had deleted my viveka. Could you simply sandbox it instead of deleting it? --Franken Kesey 22:21, 9 November 2010 (UTC)
Can't you sandbox it yourself? After I restore it, if you want it. Surgo 01:52, 10 November 2010 (UTC)
Certainly, just need it to be restored. Thanks --Franken Kesey 01:58, 10 November 2010 (UTC)
It's done. Remember to not leave a redirect, please. Surgo 03:04, 10 November 2010 (UTC)

A Helpful Glance[edit]

If you could please have a look at my latest creation found here: http://www.dnd-wiki.org/wiki/User:Stryker-Fyre/Sandbox , it would be much appreciated, thankyou.--Stryker 04:07, 13 November 2010 (UTC)

Battlesmith[edit]

Hey, are you planning to finish the Battlesmith page? Surgo 18:46, 15 November 2010 (UTC)

Whoops, thought I forgot something. >.>; I'm on it. -- Eiji-kun 01:47, 25 November 2010 (UTC)
That should do it. I removed the template too. -- Eiji-kun 09:45, 25 November 2010 (UTC)

A bit of praise[edit]

Just wanted to say, I'm a big fan of your work and it's really inspired me for my campaigns I'm running. I'm currently creating a set of 12 Spellborg "Knights" named after constellations with their leader, an Alchemist named Ophiuchus. By the way, I'm new, so, sorry if this isn't the appropriate method to state such things. The 42nd Gecko 23:35, 18 November 2010 (UTC)

Awesome!  :D I love inspiring people! Rock on! -- Eiji-kun 01:47, 25 November 2010 (UTC)

Wheres Eiji-kun?[edit]

Srsly did you fall off of the edge of the world, dude.--Stryker 06:27, 14 December 2010 (UTC)

Nah, just been sooooo freaking busy with Xmas everything. I have made a few recent things. Sputnik and a Mimic class come to mind, as well that the Kremen. Actually, here for one more actually. Time for some Fumbles... The Hedgehog! -- Eiji-kun 08:30, 14 December 2010 (UTC)

Worldseer[edit]

Is the Worldseer still incomplete? Also, the abilities are a bit hard to read -- could you reformat the page a little bit? Maybe a table or bullet points would help, instead of the horizontal bars. Surgo 18:21, 9 January 2011 (UTC)

I forgot about it. TIme to work... (Self reminder, still working on Bloodcaster and... one more I'm forgetting now. Great.) @_@ -- Eiji-kun 19:59, 17 January 2011 (UTC)
UPDATE: Worldseer is done. -- Eiji-kun 00:37, 23 January 2011 (UTC)

Diminutive or Fine Races[edit]

Do you know of any diminutive or fine sized races? --Franken Kesey 17:15, 21 January 2011 (UTC)

Sorta, none you'd find for LA 0, or LA 1 ever. The issue is of course that the smaller you go, the more one-sided things become. A fine spellcaster is GOD and utterly useless as anything melee, so it ends up trumping up a character type that really doesn't need any trumping. You'll have to remember that the lack of reach will be irrelevant as it is so one-sided that no one will play a melee tiny person, if you build one, think "how can casters abuse this". Anyway, closest thing to a PC race of small size (diminutive if I recall) is the Jermaline, from... MM3? I forget, ugly lil fae, real small, somehow manages to be low LA, and kind of broken (so I wouldn't use it as a baseline). It's a monster of course. Good luck. -- Eiji-kun 19:46, 21 January 2011 (UTC)

Edolicentia[edit]

Needed to move your new page Eiji. Can't have parentheses in the page name except for the identifier, it messes stuff up. Sorry. New page at: Baatorian Enslaver - Edolicentia (3.5e Monster)

Ooo, ok. -- Eiji-kun 18:45, 9 February 2011 (UTC)

Corpseblood Mold (3.5e Other)[edit]

missing template it links to... Born to Be Wild 22:22, 19 February 2011 (UTC)

Tis fix'd. -- Eiji-kun 04:55, 21 February 2011 (UTC)

Epic Tables[edit]

Sorry Eiji, but I'm changing the categories around for epic stuff. They need to be "Epic Equipment" from here out. - Tarkisflux 07:31, 2 March 2011 (UTC)

Oh.... oops! Well, 50/50 change, either the preload or the catagories were in error, I picked wrong. Um... time to undo the damage. >.> -- Eiji-kun 07:33, 2 March 2011 (UTC)
No worries. Bot replacement fired off, should get the preloads too. - Tarkisflux 07:37, 2 March 2011 (UTC)

Gate Knight Sacrifices[edit]

Eiji, if you get some time can you go through the gate knight sacrifices and clean them up a bit? Blackest Terror (3.5e Sacrifice) is all set as an example - it's got a shiny new breadcrumb, properly shows level and summary on the sacrifices page, and doesn't have any extra categories (trying to clean those up). Thanks! - Tarkisflux 18:17, 24 March 2011 (UTC)

I've been meaning to work on that. Thanks, I'll run by them in a few days if I can. -- Eiji-kun 18:21, 24 March 2011 (UTC)
FYI for myself, this is done.

Email Confirmation[edit]

Because you're my favorite admin (mainly because of your Plushie creation), could you please make it so that my email confirmation works? According to my preference page, my e-mail address was authenticated on 20 January 2011 at 03:02.The Dire Reverend 03:38, 15 April 2011 (UTC)

Does it work now? :) -- Eiji-kun 05:21, 15 April 2011 (UTC)
I still get the equation question when editing. :( The Dire Reverend 18:42, 15 April 2011 (UTC)
Hmm, that wasn't the right option then. Workin' on it. (EDIT: Found the page. And ironically I don't have permission to do it. I'll poke Surgo about it. Hang tight lil buddy.) -- Eiji-kun 19:18, 15 April 2011 (UTC)
Should be set now, though you may want to log off and back on to your account just in case. - Tarkisflux 21:03, 15 April 2011 (UTC)

Plushie Substitution Classes[edit]

You've a few articles in Category:DoSomethingAboutMe with nonstandard identifiers. They need to be moved and the footer updated. --Havvy (71.56.142.2 09:56, 31 May 2011 (UTC))

Oh yeah, I'll get to it. -- Eiji-kun 10:03, 31 May 2011 (UTC)
Problem. We have 3.5e Racial Substitution Levels but no Racial Sub preload or form of any sort. Furthermore, using Alternate Class Feature might work but is it really supposed to be mixed in there, especially since a racial sub page exists there? Wat do? -- Eiji-kun 01:33, 3 June 2011 (UTC)
What is needed for a racial substitution level? I'll make a preload. --Havvy 05:22, 3 June 2011 (UTC)
Author. Summery. Race. A table similar to a class showing the altered levels, and then normal class entries showing the changes. Well, check the Plushie Barbarian, that's a good example, even if the tag format is currently bad. -- Eiji-kun 06:50, 3 June 2011 (UTC)

Ambush Feat Type[edit]

So, the Ambush feat type...is it needed? What does it signify? --Havvy 01:29, 25 July 2011 (UTC)

Ambush feats? Oi, what about them, those are the ones introduced in... Complete Adventurer? Scoundrel? Anyway their Sneak Attack/Sudden Strike related feats, typically going like "Sacrifice Xd6 dice of SA, gain effect of Y on your attack." I like them.
Why? -- Eiji-kun 02:29, 25 July 2011 (UTC)
Well, you had the only Ambush feat on the wiki, and I wasn't sure if it was a feat type you created or not. As it is a WotC feat type, that makes things easier. --Havvy 15:24, 25 July 2011 (UTC)
Well, I'm gonna have to make some more. Thanks for the heads up. -- Eiji-kun 19:11, 25 July 2011 (UTC)

A Recent Edit of Yours[edit]

I like it. That is all. --Ghostwheel 03:24, 25 October 2011 (UTC)

Grafts[edit]

My apologies if this is formatted incorrectly, I'm a wiki noob.

I noticed that you have added a great deal to the Grafts section over the summer, first I think that's great that section was pretty bare when I first looked there this spring. I was wondering however if your omission of graft slots on the grafts you added (head, skin, flesh, arms, legs) was intentional or accidental? I know for many of the ones you added it is fairly self explanatory, but I have found myself wondering with a few, for example, are the wings arm or flesh grafts? Oh, one other small thing I noticed, on the wing grafts, you never put a limit on the encumbrance loads of the graftee while flying. I thought on the void wings in particular that may be important, before someone thinks they can push small asteroids around at near relativistic speeds in outer space. As for pricing, you asked on a couple, and I think the pricing is spot on, even on the void wings as their maneuverability is only average. Oh, one other point on the Void Wings, you said a graftee gets a fly speed equal to their land speed, not their base land speed. That might lead to some rather meteoric monks or other speed buffers.

Just some thoughts, and thank you again for all your hard work. Tunganation 07:47, 27 October 2011 (UTC)

Hello!
The lack of item slots is intentional. While I've not yet made any sourcebook on the matter, I'm running under the rules of "graft replaces whatever it is, and you can have NI grafts so long as they don't replace the same thing" like arms from two different grafts. It's tricky since WotC has like no less than 4 different graft rules. I figure, if a DM is engaging a particular rule type like "only 5 grafts" or "all from the same source" they are free to do so with minimal adaption. So thats why I went for minimalism.
As for the void wings, good catch. I'll fix that later. X3 Meteor moooonk! -- Eiji-kun 08:18, 27 October 2011 (UTC)

Plushie Race Image[edit]

A Plushie, ready to attack.
I noticed that the Plushie race page lacks an image. May I suggest this image image for the Eijilund_Plushie page, and possibly the Plushie Fighter to display the Slashy Slashy ability? I took the picture of Dave the Warrior, and I give you permission to use his image for any Plushie-related articles. The Dire Reverend 04:48, 30 October 2011 (UTC)
Ahaha, who is that? He's adorible!
Make it so, I approve of this plushiepic. -- Eiji-kun 06:35, 30 October 2011 (UTC)
The Legend of Dave the Warrior. True story. The Dire Reverend 00:44, 11 November 2011 (UTC)
Now for a less epic story. Do you mind if I use some of your material from your plushy creations for the Bleach D20 plush race? The Dire Reverend 23:19, 27 November 2011 (UTC)
You may release your bankai. Show me what you got! (Go ahead) -- Eiji-kun 23:28, 27 November 2011 (UTC)

Boring question.[edit]

I was wondering if you (Or anyone else for that matter) knows why Undead Paragon, Boneclaw Hybrid (3.5e Racial Paragon Class) is found under "B" instead of "U" when viewed alphabetically from 3.5e Racial Paragon Classes or 3.5e Racial Paragon Classes Category Format. I don't think it is because of the comma, because many other paragon classes have commas and I do not see any other paragon classes that do such a thing, and I really don't want to create around 5 different pages, clogging the wiki with useless articles just to see why this was happening. I was thinking of making several other Undead Paragon classes, and it would be nice for them to be grouped together like the "Ravaged by..." Paragon Classes. The Dire Reverend 10:16, 16 November 2011 (UTC)

The sorting is most likely done by the meta-property "Title" which for this article is "Boneclaw Hybrid". --TK-Squared 11:15, 16 November 2011 (UTC)
Which line should I switch to Undead Paragon, Boneclaw Hybrid? I say "Boneclaw Hybrid" throughout the page, so I am not sure which to change. The Dire Reverend 11:49, 16 November 2011 (UTC)
TK would be right if this were in any other namespace (like Canon or Publication), but that's not what's going on here. Page moves don't trigger SMW table updates, just link updates, so it shows up in the same place with a different name. Page saves do trigger SMW table updates, so if you edit the page and save it (even if you don't change anything else) it will update the table order and show up in the right place. Which is what I did, and now it shows up in the right place. We don't see this issue very often because more people move a page and then edit stuff afterwards, triggering the proper table updates. - Tarkisflux Talk 16:53, 16 November 2011 (UTC)

Kingdom of Loathing[edit]

Eiji, you have played KoL, yes? I'm planning to undertake a project to convert the character classes from it into D&D classes. You being the Patron Saint of Silly around here, I was wondering if you might be interested in collaborating on that. --DanielDraco 18:37, 18 November 2011 (UTC)

Lol, its been a long time but I have played it. Mmmm, pastamancy. I'll see what I can work up and get in touch. -- Eiji-kun 22:11, 18 November 2011 (UTC)

Gadgeteer[edit]

You channel me so perfectly in all my rage at misplaced balance thingies. I'm so happy :-3

Why couldn't this have happened sooner!? Finally you feel my rage at misplaced content... XD --Ghostwheel 15:16, 7 December 2011 (UTC)

I must thank the nameless IP for bringing to attention just how god awful that was. -- Eiji-kun 16:54, 7 December 2011 (UTC)
Thanks accepted - also, I didn't expect my actions would have such awesome consequences. May I interest you in Ninja (3.5e Class), Swashbuckler (3.5e Class) and Witch (3.5e Class)? Also, check where this kind of retardation ends: http://tgdmb.com/viewtopic.php?t=52874 .
The Swashbuckler was recently toned down and cleaned up, so that might be a better starting point if you're interested in determining if there's anything you don't hate about Koumei's work. The Ninja is scheduled for similar updates, but Genowhirl hasn't gotten around to porting them over yet (there's a thread with the updates on TGD). - Tarkisflux Talk 18:45, 7 December 2011 (UTC)

Before you eat me...[edit]

I was wondering what your opinion of the Bleach D20 sourcebook found here.

This is not a shameless plug, I need your opinion for a dark arcane ritual.

Or something to that effect. The Dire Reverend 14:50, 12 December 2011 (UTC)

Winter Cleaning[edit]

I'm cleaning out last year's winter cleaning project and you had a few articles that apparently have bad formatting. They are probably missing semantic properties that come from templates. Can you fix them up:

Thanks. --Aarnott 18:21, 17 February 2012 (UTC)

New Pages Missing Headers and Footers[edit]

You saw this with Ideasmith's new variant, and I just wanted to let you know what's going on. Following the upgrade, the <onlyinclude> stuff in the preload is being processed when the preload is loaded, so all the stuff before and after it gets left out. It's easily resolvable by adding a new <onlyinclude> at the start of the page though, and I think I've gotten most of them already. But if it happens again, that's why and what you need to do to fix it. - Tarkisflux Talk 16:56, 31 March 2012 (UTC)

Votes[edit]

"I've finally decided to vote, with votes for the status quo, the modified status quo (soulknife, warblade, druid, etc), and low to high versions. "

This isn't actually voting. You need to go append your signature to those sections. Just saiyan :-p - Tarkisflux Talk 06:04, 24 April 2012 (UTC)

What? But I did. -- Eiji-kun 18:50, 24 April 2012 (UTC)
More vote stuff... You've double voted for naming schemes, as well as Fighter level options and Wizard level options. We're just doing a pick one from set this round, so if you could go back and only vote for the one you'd prefer, I'd appreciate it. And if you honestly don't have a preference between them, please remove both votes. The rest of your option votes are fine though. - Tarkisflux Talk 16:08, 6 May 2012 (UTC)
Thanks for fixering your votes, but it looks like there's still an extra vote in the wizard level options. - Tarkisflux Talk 00:00, 7 May 2012 (UTC)
That one should be ok though, right? Since there's 3 options and I only like 2. -- Eiji-kun 00:47, 7 May 2012 (UTC)

New Elder Evil[edit]

Would you mind writing up Zalgo? I'd like to use him as an event in an upcoming campaign I'm running, with his herald being the slender man. --Ghostwheel 06:22, 5 July 2012 (UTC)

I could make both, yes. Give me 48 hours. -- Eiji-kun 08:56, 5 July 2012 (UTC)

Ratings Update[edit]

Following the recent wiki vote on ratings granularity and display, all old ratings can be updated to make use of "love / like / neutral / dislike / hate" instead of the old values. If you would like to update your ratings, you can find a list of them at Category:Legacy Rating Eiji-kun. When you update a rating, be sure to delete the "|OldRating=True" part. - Tarkisflux Talk 17:55, 15 July 2012 (UTC)

Blizzard[edit]

Cid reworked blizzard a lot, and I stuck an "|block=NewVersion" tag on your rating to reflect that. If you want to wander over there, check it out again, update your rating, and remove that line that would be cool. - Tarkisflux Talk 21:29, 7 September 2012 (UTC)
